After graduating with her B.S. in Foods and Nutrition, Rachel trained at Sibley Memorial Hospital, the Breastfeeding Center of Greater Washington, and Prince William Hospital. Rachel has been supporting breastfeeding families for 8 years and loving it.

Rachel struggled with breastfeeding her first child, who couldn't exclusively breastfeed until 3mo old. Through this she experienced severe anxiety and feelings of failure. Once Rachel and her babe were on the mend, she felt empowered knowing that once back to work she could truly connect with parents experiencing these same emotions. Rachel has loved being able to nurse both of her sons past the age of two. Breastfeeding has not only nourished her children, but has given each of them an everlasting bond, allowing them to feel calm and secure.

Rachel is married to her high school sweet heart, and they are happily raising their two sons in Loudoun County. When not working Rachel enjoys recycling, gardening, and painting.
